Visit from Alaska Stolees
Andrew's family has packed up for their move to Alaska and had a little time to visit us in Perham. |
| The kids wanted to explore the house right away and came upon my work in progress. |
Kendra enjoyed the ATV last time she was here so I brought them out to a gravel pit to have some real fun. |
| Weston waited his turn by riding on Andrew's first bike. |
Andrew took Weston for a wild ride. |
| Grandpa found some deer prints for Weston to investigate. |
Back home again the kids wanted to enjoy Grandma's library. Grandma couldn't be happier. |
| When Tom brought his kids over the cousins instantly bonded. |
Jax is particularly fond of foosball (or any game involving a ball). |
| Sloane enjoyed meeting Adalie. |
Before they came Sloane told me she wanted to watch movies in the theater. I have 5 comfortable reclining seats in there but these girls all climbed into one. |
| On Sunday we held a party so relatives could see Andrew during his short visit. Steve and Cyndie are resolving some childhood issues with a game of ping pong. |
I set up the Gran Tourismo racing game for the boys. |
| Great Grandma Jan gets to meet Adalie for the first time. |
After the croquet games were over we broke out the sprinkler to cool off in the 100 degree heat. |
| The red car remains popular. |
We had time for a walk to the Goose Gang (a toy store) where we got this 3-D puzzle. |
| We spent the next couple days at Long Lake enjoying the water. Weston got up right away on the Zup but wouldn't try the skis (I'm sure he would have had similar success). |
Andrew and I got to ski too. |
| Mostly we were out tubing. This Brawler is very stable and never flips so is safe for young grandkids. |
The cousins are having a party. |
| Weston and Jax enjoyed playing together in spite of the age gap. |
